It's the processing chart that USCIS publishes to state what cases they are currently working on looks like they are working on September EAD cases for I-485 filers waiting on adjustment.

Yay hopefully I get noticed soon. I filed mine on the 21st of September! Do they usually change the case on the website too for EAD!? Thanks for answering all the questions!:)

I might be misunderstanding what you're asking if you mean by "the case" you mean your online "check my case status portal" on the USCIS website then that will only change once a decision has been made on your case pending you have done your biometrics and there was no request for further evidence. Let me know if that answers your question :)

Hopefully, this isn't some sick joke haha or the worlds worst mess up but this is on the processing times chart for NBC

I know from the K1 forum that their processing times got updated to September 1, 2017..... Which is way off since they haven't even really seemed to have touched June yet and their official dates always seem to be a few months behind what they are actually doing.  And from the AOS forums we can see August is just starting to get touched.    Someone's going to get in trouble lol!! I think we still have a few more weeks to go until those at the first of the month start hearing back.

Could you imagine being the person who possibly messed this up (hopefully its real oh god please be real) and having to sit down and hear that you just single-handedly gave 10s of thousands of people false hope on a global scale. lol

We got RFIE, but it says

RE: I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

with the case number of my I-485 ONLY.

The letter does not mention I-765 or its own case number. So I assume the RFIE would not reset my clock for I-765?

If the processing time update is real, that would be so amazing

My timeline:

Forms received by USCIS on September 19th

Checks cashed and biometric appointment set for October 18th

Got an RFIE update on the website on October 17th

Sent in RFIE documents on October 24th

Documents received status was updated on the website October 26th

Am I right in thinking that if your notice date is before the date listed (15 Sep), you can file a service request?

Technically yes, but I'm pretty positive it's a glitch and I'm sure once they realise it they will be changing the date back. It can't hurt to try it though!

Won't let me file one online, says it's not past processing times. Not even going to bother on the phone as they're infamously unhelpful and I'd rather just go back to waiting without having to speak with them!

Same, I tried filing a SR online and came back as within processing time. My NOA2 date is September 12, so it was worth a shot!

Just called and spoke to a really nice individual on the phone, he said no matter what date is posted it must be 75 days past USCIS receiving your case in order to create an SR. He also said he believes that the September 15th date posted is an accurate reflection of their current processing times.

That is awesome! Keeping my fingers crossed for my papers that they received Sept 19th
