I got pink paper RFIE for I-485.

They requested me to send 2016 Federal Income Tax Returns (IRS 1040 form).

I only have completed 1040EZ form using Turbo Tax. Will they accept that?

You can order tax return transcripts online for free from the IRS

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

I was able to download mine right away when I was putting together my paperwork, but it looks like the online system is down at this time. It looks like you can still request them to be mailed to you however.

If you are going through the visa process and will be interviewing in Casablanca, Morocco, join us over at the

Anyone here been approved yet for EAD?

No.  From following other threads it seems that July filers are the bulk of those currently receiving their cards.  There have also been one or two early August fiilers who have received confirmation that they are authorised but still a number of filers from June that are waiting and chasing their EADs.

Based on what I am seeing on other threads we might start to see some early September filers getting authorisation in about a month - and most of us will probably be January.

I went to get biometrics done in October 19th and waiting for changing the status to something lol. Can anyone share your timelines after the biometrics done please?!

it might not change at all.  I think it depends on the officer dealing with your case.  Some just stay at 'case recieved' or 'fingerprints fee received' until the card is issued.

Looking at july and August filers it seems to be about 70 days after biometrics for EAD cards

Your interview is for the green card - that can take months depending on how quickly your local office is processing applications.  Here in Minnesota I am expecting that I will have to wait a year for my interview - even though my status says 'ready to schedule interview'  Other offices are much quicker but it can take months to receive the letter for your interview appointment.  In some circumstances the interview is waived and the green card will be sent from USCIS without ever having an interview.

Looking like the trend the last couple of days for EAD processing has increased in the last few days hopefully, this trend continues as we are now starting to see August filers being approved. :) wondering if in 2 to 3 weeks if some lucky early September filers might be approved based on trend data. (fingers crossed)
