I thought most people were getting interviews, so less people in line when it comes to the no interview ...as you say less people to deal with means faster processing (common sense).

It's generally around 50/50 for an interview. The difference is regional offices don't usually handle as many cases as say the Chicago or California office which handles numerous cases along with other things as well.

My local office is already processing May AOS, which is ahead of any other office in the country. Which is why I obviously want an interview.

Hi! Another Sept filer here 😊

Our case number for both AOS and EAD start with MSC. Does this mean both will be processed by NBC until green card production or is it still going to be transferred to a local office?

Thank you!

@Gemma thanks for sharing your update! That puts my mind at ease a bit more knowing that your online status did finally change. I'll keep checking mine and post any updates I get as well.

Hi, were the USCIS happy with your new translated birth certificate?

I also got a RIEF. Don't know what it is yet...:(

Hi @JoJoJoJo

Sorry to hear about the RFE. I feel you.

As for ours, same as @RJandHamid here. They acknowledged receiving the certified translation of the birth certificate on October 17th, but we haven't heard anything back yet.

Hope your RFE is easy to answer. Good luck!

Hi @Gemma

Thank for your sympathy and sharing your experience! For the whole morning, I just cannot imagine what I possibly have missed! Hopefully I will receive the letter of RFIE soon as they issued it on Monday.

Good luck to you, too!!!
