hello!

we haven't received email from nvc that the AOS fee has been paid and the DS261 have been completed . .but it shows in the website that it has been completed and payed...and the IV fee can now be paid . .should we pay it now?or wait for the email?

also if you can see it . .

the DS261 we choose the petitioner as the agent ..but it shows at the website that (NO AGENT OR ATTORNEY is selected) but we selected the petitioner . .how come???

also how can you expedite the case? and for those who are using joint sponsorship what form of I-1864 should I print out???coz there are a lot and i'm afraid i'd choose the wrong form of I-1864..

thanks for the help..

HI the petitioner will  receive an email with cover sheet once the DS261 is submitted. As for the petitioner being the agent that's how it will appear on the screen "no agent or attorney selected".

Where it says pay now you can go ahead an make payments, but there are instances where it says pay now an it won't allow you to but just give it time or call an let them know.

If your going to use a joint sponsor then i-864ez shouldn't be used. To expedite you can send an email but you must show evidence for the reason why you want expedite.

And of course they just announced that they are stopping the issue of visas in Havana :(

I called my attorney, and we should be able to send our case to one of the other nearby countries instead...

So frustrating that we are so close and this happens.

Omg that's so annoying, but keep ya head up, you're almost there.

Advice please.  We were approved via Texas USCIS on Aug 30th.  We started calling NVC mid September to get a case number... Waited and waited and finally requested some research from USCIS into the delay and then I received email that our case was emailed to NVC on Sep 25th.  Now I am calling the NVC daily to get a case number and they just keep on nonchalantly saying that "it can take up to 6 weeks for receipt and 2 more weeks to create an NVC case number."

Watching other peoples timelines, they are going from NOA2 approval to NVC receive much, much faster... on average 16 days.

Any recommendations?  Frustrated and desperate... :-(

A million thanks in advance for any help :-)
