Sent both doc packets together on August 17th, was delivered on the 21st, scan date of the 22nd. Just called again and learned our case is 'under review' as of Sept. 15th. Happy it got to review so quickly, hopefully, there's no issues or checklist and we can get a CC and transfer to Madrid in next month or so.

how long after paying your IV bill were you able to fill out the DS260?

That's good news. I noticed they are getting faster. Does this have anything to do with reaching the annual quota of other types of immigration visas?

I remember reading something like that but I can't remember on which website.

Thats ok, I've heard from a few people it was around a week, I guess some of us were expecting it to open up right after the IV bill cleared the bank.

No CC yet. SD is August 7. We called today after I posted my response. They asked again about DS-260 submission. This time they asked "did you submit it before or after you sent the package?" We did it before so they said "good" and that we should wait. They indicated that it can take up to 11 weeks. I feel that this is just a textbook response.

 

I feel it's processing now and hopefully we will hear something soon. The fact that they know the content of the package make us optimistic.

No, Mexico is very slow, it might even take more than a week to hear anything, it seems like DR approves every request that comes their way.

i haven't receive any text or email since noa2 hard copy arrived . .. . 

aug 29 2017 - NOA2 approve
sept 07 2017 - send to nvc

 

i have not receive the text or email from uscis that my case was approve but, i have receive the hard copy via mail also the website says 

case was sent to the dept of state..

 

its been 3 weeks since i got the noa2 . .and i'm wondering how long does it take for my case to be receive at nvc and would i get a text/email/ hard copy?

 

also,

 

If the beneficiary move to another address would nvc send hard copy/mail to the beneficiary???or would nvc send email to the beneficiary?

Just got off the phone with NVC and they said the payment processing has been having issues the last month and it usually only takes a few days but now its been taking up to the full week to show paid, and once it shows paid it should unlock the DS260, and if it hasn't cleared by the middle of next week I should call back.

They should have your case number by now, you can call them to get it, use your USCIS case number, they close in 15 minutes, there's no wait if you try now.

Other wise it can take a few weeks to hear from them.

 

text or email from USCIS would come before the hardcopy, and they don't give any other information, if you want to see what they say you can just enter your number on the USCIS website.

I hope it goes quicker for you. One DR member waited 12 days for a reply. To be honest I was expecting a denial, but you don't know unless you try!

Good to know. I too am waiting for the DS260 to unlock.
