You can do that in the i-130 thread, thats the purpose of having threads for specific purposes, this NVC thread is recreated every month for that specific purpose

what does " pr income tax returns" ? they wanted something besides the transcripts? I thought the transcripts covered everything.

First scan date 1st may 2017 , I got a checklist of police report certificate so second scan date Aug 24th 2017 and cc on Aug 1st wow it's miracle

Scan date: August 7th

 

We called NVC about a week ago to check the status. This time they told us what they got in the envelope. I guess this indicates that they actually started working on the case and it's not in queue or something. They also asked if DS-260 was completed and we confirmed that. Then we were told now it's a waiting game.

 

I've been looking around to set our expectations and noticed that it's around 7 weeks on average. This being said, the fact that we started seeing the first two weeks of July getting responses from NVC is another indicator that cases submitted end of July/early August are being adjudicated nowadays and should hear an answer in 6-8 weeks. (hopefully)

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

So do I pretty much have to wait out the DS260 unlocking?

 

Both payments have cleared but still show in process, I understand there may be a payment issue at NVC, not sure if its worth calling.

 

Its supposed to be 7 days from payment cleared to update? If so that's next week.

Called the NVC again. They got my case yesterday and I now have the case number and invoice number :)

 

They said my attorney will get the fee bills shortly. One step closer!
