My case was November 18, 2016 and I was approved.

Maybe it's your particular case that is creating the delay.

Your case has both an I-129F and an I-130 petition. One is for K1 visa and the other is for the CR1 visa. The K3 visa process is now obsolete.

Yes my lawyer filed 1-130 first PD Nov 30 and later filed the k/3 PD Dec 16 so they received 1-130 first so shouldn't make any difference.

So do you need to send the W2 along with the IRS transcripts?

I was under the impression the transcripts covered everything, but someone recently told me you have to send the W2 as well.

I'm using an immigration attorney and he requested my W-2s and tax returns. He said no need for the transcripts since they'd have the same info.

No. Not if you submitted transcripts.

They prefer transcripts unless they can't be obtained. Makes it easier on them. I had to send w2's and tax returns because it was too early for a transcript to be available for the current year. But either way you will be fine.

ok good cause I'm with my beneficiary and I think things might be good to go before I get home in a few weeks, unfortunately I didn't get a digital copy this year
