They essentially wanted the translation done by the same person I'm guessing, that stinks.

 

"Certified" just means it has a statement saying the translation is correct and the person is competent. I didn't pay anyone and my friend has no sort of certification.  They accepted ours fine. But ours was in the exact same format.

Yes! Exactly we paid a company to do the certifed translation. Now our case is hetting closed to week 7 from the second scan date and still no news ftom NVC

Out of curiosity, did anyone have their USICS status just never actually update to "Sent to Dept of State" on the website? I got the paper notice but it still says "Case Approved" online. It's only been a little over a week for me but dying for the NVC to receive my case.

I was approved on the 21st and just got it today, I see your 5 days later, so it should be coming soon. I actually just called them but they don't have it yet, I might hold off until Monday till I try again.

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

Figured that, but I was worried I'd lose out on days, I'll give them some more time.

I'm sure there's people that call in the morning and evening.

You can call every other day. Just call early in the morning or late at night so you dont waste much time. Usually the wait is like 5 mins.

its funny every time they try to assert, please wait 6 weeks.

I think I'll skip Friday and call Monday evening.

Our scan date is 8-29, when I go to CEAC I get the message telling me they need the AOS and Civil documents. Which they have and are scanned, is that normal I am seeing that message?

Did you call and did they say they actually have your AOS? My scan date is 8/22 but they are saying they dont have my AOS but i know they do. We can be buddies until we get case close together!

Yes call and make sure they have the AOS too, sometimes they'll just say things to shake you off. But its normal to see that on CEAC until you get a CAse close

Yea that's completely normal.  The message won't change until you get a CC. 🙂
