I just had a call with my husband interview went well 5 questions

- who is the petitioner?

- how we met?

- when and where was our wedding?

- divorce date (he is divorced)

- to read a flyer and tell consulate officer what is about (it was about domestic violence)

consulate officer didn't tell him if case is approved or denied but gave him a paper where it says the process is now completed, verify ceac website in 3 business days to see the result of the request.  5 business days after the interview the passport will be returned to you with seal envelops.

(so I guess is approved right? why things can not be easy in this consulate? )

Nice interview please I don't understand this part - to read a flyer and tell consulate officer what is about (it was about domestic violence)

It is a standard process US embassy do

The document (flyer) is the information about who to call if there is a violence happened in the marriage

basically saying if there is a violence happen, you should call for help and don't need to worry about lose green card

one officer will give you the document when you check-in for interview, then the interview officer will confirm if you read the document and understand your right

Hey guys! I've totally been MIA, lots going on and I just have been caught up. Ive been trying not to think about the process.

However, today, I called NVC for an update.
Previously, they've said something along the lines of "we received your paper work on 7/28 and we have 11 weeks to review, you'll receive and email when they have completed the review process"

Today, they said they are actually reviewing our documents now and will contact us when it is complete. I asked if that 11 week estimate is still accurate for CC.  She said that she can't tell us how long it will take them to review. I know that this process is not too predictable time-wise. But I guess I'd just like to know if anyone knows how long it may take from here now that we are officially under review.

Would this question be better asked elsewhere do you guys think?

I did NOT realize I posted in here!! I am so sorry. I thought I posted in my regular Jan filers group lol. thanks again thought for helping out

According to the interview spreadsheet there are 2 entries for Hungary. From CC to interview it's 41-51 days. If we estimate a minimum of 9 weeks for your case to be complete without a checklist that's around October 24th (my birthday lol). If you add 41 days to that it's December 4th for the interview or 51 days, December 14th. This is just an estimate if it takes 9 weeks to get a CC. It could take a little longer or could be a little quicker! So, it's definitely possible! Best of luck! :)

The visa journey finally comes to an end...4 hours to go...my wife is arriving in NYC today.

Took exactly ONE year from sending in the petition and to my wife's arrival in the States.

I wish you all the best and hopefully your journeys end soon too.

Congratulations!!! I can't wait for that moment! 6 more weeks til my husband's interview and I don't care how much we have to pay for a next day flight because the day he gets his visa we're buying a one way ticket for the following day! I wish you all the best and a life full of happiness together! <3
