Hello,

I am curious to know what kind of relationship evidence any successful K1 visa holders used in their packages? I have a ton of pictures at different places and in different seasons of the year with my fiance, but we only live an hour drive away (we both live right by the Canada/US border) and so we drive to see each other. I don't have airline tickets to show because I drive and we see each other so often that we don't need to skype or anything. We text each other at least 20 x a day but we don't talk on the phone a lot as he works really late when I'm not there. Phone records don't show text messages. We don't email because, again, we live so close and see each other so often. I am wondering if because we are the type of applicants who live so close to each other and see each other so much more than probably your average applicants do, would USCIS need as much evidence from us or will the pictures suffice? I'm also pregnant with our child but have been advised not to focus on that so I'm not including anything about our unborn daughter. Thanks.

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home#section You could look at your travel history here if you have a passport and show all the times you crossed. I also did not always have airline tickets etc. Can you screenshot some of the text messages and add them in. We did screenshots of Facebook messages etc. Anything like that will also show evidence of a relationship. :)

Yes, good thinking I am currently going through our texts and screenshotting! Luckily we are big on sending lots of sappy messages lol and it's great because the date is right there. I have a NEXUS safe traveller card (like a super version of the enhanced license - it means they've checked into your background and you're considered a safe traveller with no criminal history) so I don't use a passport to cross. But thanks for confirming the screenshots of messages :)

No problem. :) Yes those of us close to the border have more problems. I have an enhanced drivers license to go across on lol I only just got my passport in May because we need it for this Visa.

Oh that's interesting. We have included pictures with family (my two future stepdaughters - his girls from a previous relationship). I never thought about notarized letters but we can certainly do that. Our major purchases related to our relationship have been for our baby. I am using my grandmother's ring until we are ready to purchase my permanent one but for now we have prioritized the baby's needs. Thanks for the advice
