I had talked to my fiancé yesterday and she was going to call the embassy for an appointment - I haven't talked with her yet, so I am hoping that she was able to do so. On the travel docs site she told me that she filled out the form and then it asks what date you would like - I am not sure, I haven't logged on.

Still no interview dates available - nothing available online.  When I call the embassy, and the system gets to the the part where they transfer you to speak to someone to schedule an interview, the system just disconnects you.

I know we will eventually get our interview date, but waiting again is just adding to the frustration.

I will keep calling and checking the website until we get interview date.

I would be very interested to know if you were able to select dates online. We still get the message "No dates available."

I think you are a couple of weeks ahead of us, so I wonder if they do this in some type of order, or they just open up interview dates for every one when they are available?

No such luck - My fiancé called and she said she waited and waited for more than 30 minutes both times. She ended up sending them an email. We're waiting for a reply. I think that they are supposed to reply within two working days, so hopefully we get some sort of information.

Sounds like my experience too.  Now when I call and get through to the number for scheduling an appointment, the system just disconnects me.  At least last week I got through to talk to someone.  Now they don't even answer the phone.

Hope they have new appointments soon.  I will post here as soon as we get something and let everyone know that you can schedule appointment.

Good Luck!!

And I sent email twice now - they just say sorry, you will have to wait, and keep checking the web site.

I finally got through to the embassy - schedule immigrant appointment. I called at 9 am local, and was on hold for about 40 minutes.

They said there are currently no appointments available, but to expect an email in 2 to 5 days with an update to schedule interview.

Not good news, but not bad either.

Thank you for the information - It is rather frustrating to say the least.

Did  anyone manage to  schedule an interview appointment  at the Moscow Consulate? We  still get info  that there are currently no appointments available. :(  I don't know what to do and how long to wait?   What do you think  , if an immigration lawyer  could  help?

Lawyer is waste of money, they can't help.  Everyone is waiting.

Got up this morning, checked the US Travel Docs Web site while I had breakfast at 0545 (US Pacific Coast Time) - no appointments available.  Got to work at 0700, decided to check the web site again, just for the heck of it, and bam - appointment calendar!!!  First time I have seen this.  I squealed like a little girl!

There was only 1 date and time available - October 25, 0900.  Nothing else to choose from.  Of course I confirmed!

So I think that maybe the embassy is assigning dates now, instead of allowing everyone to pick a date?  Just a thought.

So keep checking the web site - you never know when you will have an appointment available.
