Hey Guys/Gals.

I filed for ROC in september 2017, got the 18 month extension letter last year, applied for N400 in september 2018. Got a update on the I751 case in december 2018 that a new office has jurisdiction on my case and no update since then on neither I751 nor N400. Now the 18 month extension is set to expire in March 2019, so next month. What should I be doing ? just book info pass and get the I551 stamp or is there anything more that I can do ?

that's your best option right there ..

Hi, everyone! I was reading this forum since I applied on my I-751 in September of 2017. Today my lawyer called and said that he has my green card on his table! I filed alone(waiver). No interview, no rfe. Thank you everyone for your responses, it helped me a lot to go through. My case is EAC17259. Good luck everybody! P.s.my status hasn’t changed yet, still says “case was received”.

Is it as easy as just getting and info pass appointment and getting a stamp ? or is that a long procedure too ?

It is very easy. My wife had gotten one last year. We spent no more than like 2 hours in that building getting that.

Did you file N400 ?  My wife filed the N400 also so her i751 was trasnferred to NBC and now in local field office. We got a letter for i 751 interview, I guess USCIS does not want to perform a combo interview.

Not really that bad tho. For those that live in busy cities like Houston or Dallas, TX, filing i751 and N400 together might save us a couple months so we could end up being naturalized a bit faster 😊 and apparently, if the marriage is real, I dont think the interview would be that scary 😊 our 2-yr green card interview lasted 5 mins.

Hi, I am planning to take the copy of the appointment letter, my ROC and N400 receipts, passports expired GC. Anything else needed for the infopasss appointment to get the I551 stamp?

If you have state ID or driver licence,  take it. They might not check it.  Passport is okay to get in with appointment letter.   It is an easy process.  Prepare ,  they might take your expired  green card, so make copy of both side ( I know you have it).  Took our card in Philly local office.  Obviously, check the date on the stamp to make sure, it is March ??? 2020 before move out from the counter.

Almost 4 years passed since you got your GC so you should have more evidence. They look for that and validity of your marriage.

My wife and I we went one last week.  She's a 9/2017 filer too.

I went for the infopass appointment today to get the stamp and asked the ISO what the status of my case was. So my I751 and N400 are merged just like some of the others here. And the ISO also said, your case is cleared for interview and is in the queue, but the local office(denver) has a backlog hence the delay, so I should hear something in 3 months as they were working on July cases and I filed in November. That was good to hear. I got the stamp for another year. Wish I had known about the stamp ahead of time, would have saved me an expensive airline ticket. But all good now can now travel again.

I filed my I-751 in Sept 2017 and the N-400 in Sept 2018.  My local field office is also Denver.  Was wondering if you got a notice that your I-751 was moved from the California Service Center to NBC ( Lee's Summit, MO ) as well?
