I’m beginning to think that CSC is worker faster  than VSC now or it isn’t the case? Most of the approvals are coming from CSC

I really doubt that, VSC is till operating at a 12 month timeline but CSC is more at a 18 month average.

congrats ... do you file for N400 yet?

It has been a long 15 months, finally got my card today. I had been on this site almost everyday checking for any updates on fellow September filers and yeah, I had been obsessed with USCIS website checking for my status too.

Congratulations for those who got theirs, and hang in there for those who are still waiting.

Sharla-

[1] How did you figure out that the Local office notified on April 9?

[2] How did you get infopass for I551 Stamp?

[3] Did they response to your request for 18 months extension letter?  I received 18 months extension letter , but courtesy copy and requested for an official one and did not get any response

Hey, sorry for my delay in response! I didn't get a notification for this since it wasn't a quote.

 1) almost all of us got this notification that our cases had "been received at [our] local office" on April 9th. This seems to have been a system glitch and didn't mean anything.

2) I had to check the infopass appointment page every day at random times. It's really just luck of the draw that one time I checked there happened to be one 8am appointment available. Infopass is terrible.

3) they responded to my inquiry via email and said they would send me the 18-mo extension, but it never came. I inquired in Oct and got the response in early Nov--maybe they decided not to send because the case worker knew I was about to get approved? Who knows.

Good luck!

Sorry, all of that has strike-out because I wrote (s) with square brackets at the end of "office" and the system took it as a font formatting code. Typing from my phone so I don't have a way to fix it!

I'm a little confused so hopefully someone can clear it up.

We filed like everyone else and just got a notice her GC was approved but it had a different case number. I looked up the case number and the last thing the new case number shows was the file was moved to a local office. I had zero clue this case existed.

Did any of you others get a different case after the initial case number was given?
