Now a second update. I just got another update from USCIS 30 mins ago saying they moved my file to another office. That’s 2 updates now, about moving my case. I got the first notification on Friday by 4pm and this one today a little after 6pm. I’m pretty confused and anxious now about what this means.

 

For those who had their cases move to another office, did you ever get a second notification after the first one?

I also got that case transferred update today, I am a September 2017 flier.

The 100 cases I watch were subject to this. On Friday about 15 cases had their status updated to "moved to another office". Today, 25 cases, including all of the 15 updated on Friday, had their status re-updated to "moved to another office" (with today's date). 

So, plenty of those. IMO not very meaningful - just a bureaucratic procedure.

It does look like most of the cases transferred are EAC ? Nothing been happening from California

That’s very confusing. I didn’t get any notification where’s my application is. The last update was way back April that transfer the application to the local office. That’s it

I am guessing these "transfers" are no more than an automated message along the lines of "someone has touched this case". Would not really pay much attention to it (but that's just me).

"Transfers" are better than no updates based on what I have read here. A lot people got approved one month after being transferred.

 

I am a Cali filer and my last update was in March 2018 that my case was received at local office,

The transfers where a new office has a jurisdiction are not really automated. The actual cases are actually being moved, either to speed up processing or to schedule an interview. There are different reasons for transfers. The glitch transfer message that everyone got in February/March/April says the case was transferred to the local office and that was it. Some people still get those till this day and nothing happened to their case.

Yes, I agree it’s real transfers. We all got notifications . With transfer to “ local offices” we didn’t get them. I really think we will get mail notifications as well on a paper.

Got a second "your case was moved to another office" yesterday as well. I really hope they finish things up already.

Did any CSC September 2017 filers have their cases transferred over ? Not the ones who filed their N-400's

I got the transfer notification two days in a row, I guess someone is touching my case, I am a EAC September 2017 flier.

transferred to a local office? I would think the same.  Good luck and hopefully you get your approval soon
