Now I understand why we have 22 months. I thought it was because we are a gay couple and the fed govt has already started discriminating! like I know it is in the works but didnt know that it would happen this fast. Guess I was wrong! Thanks for the clarification @DavidnThao

No problem. I'm sure it wont take that long. My friend applied for N-400 this time last year in Houston and got her interview last month.

hello

i did apply for i751 september 2017 (csc)  , february  26  2018 case recived at your local office , agust 10 2018 extension 18 month recived

september 2018 i filled n 400  in dallas tx , october 23 recived second extension letter saying the first one was error and this one was official not copy as the first one , yesterday oct 24 i went to my schedule uscis appoitment to get some informations (info pass appt )  here in dallas , the officer there told me you not gonna recive anything about the i 751 and your case never been recived here not even since february 26 , and he told me because u applied for n 400 you made your case long now because they ll transfer both case to NBC and u may not gonna hear  nothing until they get to your n 400 and you look to get some news after october 2019   , he got my passport and he stamp 551 there ( even though i have extension until june 2019).

conclusion : because i apply for n 400  while i 751 pending my journey will get long than those who didnt apply (i dont know really what just happend here even i heard a lot case the reverse just happend )

Don't feel bad, not all the officers know everything. The wait time for i751 (CSC) is 18 - 24 months, even you have not applied for n400. If the office is right then in worst situation you may need additional 2-3 months to complete both the application.
That's 2 to 3 months more for i751 but 11 to 12 months less for n400. Think Positive :)

Hey guys, just an FYI for anyone who received the non official 18 month extension letter, I requested a ‘notice not delivered’ on the uscis website. They then said they would ‘resend’ the official notice, I finally got the official extension, a week after sending the request.

@yesandtolove Did you apply for your N-400 ? If so, this denotes them bundling your cases and scheduled a combined I-751/N-400 interview ? If not, it's a case transfer to another processing center (NSC.TSC) to process your case. It's a good sign, folks have gotten their approvals after transfer in less than a month,

Do we have any other CSC files who got a case transfer notice online ?
