I haven’t received my extension letter yet , should I be worried?  :(

It can still come but I would make an infopass appointment to get a stamp 1 month before your extension letter expires, just to be safe. You can always cancel the infopass appointment if it comes before you go.

Hello guys,

So I finish filling up N-400 online. On the evidence section it says "UPLOAD DOCUMENTS TO SUPPORT YOU HAVE BEEN IN A GOOD MARIAGE FOR LAST 3 YEARS".

So ones who have filed N-400, did you guys upload all the documents you sent for I-751 "Removal of conditions" from 2015 to 2018 for N-400 or did you guys only uploaded recent new documents from 2017 to 2018 (evidence you collected since filing I-751).

Not referring to tax returns because N-400 specifically asks for all 3 years of tax returns.

I am referring to evidence such as utility bills, bank statements, credit card statements, mortgage/lease agreements etc.

Please reply. Thank you.

We submitted all of the I-751 and the ones that we recently did.

THe list that we recently had done are,

Last will and testament.

Medical Directive

Power of Attorney

Guardianship

Deeds transferring half our immovables assests

Revocable Deeds that transfer the half to the spouse upon death.

All these documents were filed with the County Clerk and submitted on USCIS with seal.

The remaining documents like elec bill and internet bill were from I-751 along with two more current bills.

Hope this helps.

Also, if you do miss something, you can always take it to the interview.

Your tax returns are the most important and then there are the 'supplementary' documents (how I like to call them) like joint bank account statements, joint insurance etc. All that you submitted for ROC, you are submitting again but just updated but don't go crazy. Notice the 'or' in the USCIS checklist for N-400. In reality, you could only submit your tax transcripts but I think submitting a little extra won't hurt. I've seen people submit one statement per quarter or year, reference letters from insurance companies, copy of lease and/or wills. Good luck!

Hey guys,

I’m a little confused... isn’t our extension letter from our green card date not our application date?

Just asking bc my letter is dated October 5th but my GC doesn’t run out until December. So do I have to get an infopass now or December?

your extension letter would expire 1 yr from the expiration date of your GC.
