Just an update. My wife's ROC was approved 1-17-2019 and her 10-yr GC should arrive in the mail tomorrow, according to USCIS website. We received the approval letter in the mail a couple days ago.

No update on my end, I did receive the notice for the additional 18months..

 

I travelled to Canada with my expired GC, a copy of the extension letter (exp. 11/2018) and stamp (exp. 8/2019). I had a bad experience going through customs (several checks). One of the agents incinuated that it could be fake and walked me to a backroom in front of my work collegue. I was very embarassed. My information was verified and I was good to go. The agent who verified my information did say that there is a lot of fraud with these. I don’t want to go through this anymore and have started my N400 application.

Not true,

 

We did not use a lawyer but we still received a courtesy notice!

We received our courtesy copy to and going to err on the side fo caution and carry it everywhere! We did not use any reps either. Maybe a system glitch???!! We will start the N400 application on Sep 7, 2018

I only have traffic tickets less than $150 each. No DWI No DUI nothing like that.

 

I submitted n400 couple of weeks ago and answered yes to that questions. Ticket for less than $150 is still a citation, at least I think so. (I had an "improper equipment" ticket)

I remember seeing someone else on this forum complaining about the same issue. Hopefully they will send the official copy soon after. We are filing the N400 on September 11. Good luck to you guys!!
