I751 filed 9/2017 -- GC expired 11/2017 -- Ext.letter good 'til 11/2018 -- Stamp good 'til 8/2019

 May I ask why did you get a stamp if your extension letter isn’t expiring until November? 

 

Mines the same and I am travelling next month with just the letter. I thought you can’t get a stamp until 30 days prior to expiration?

Just an update. My wife's ROC was approved 1-17-2019 and her 10-yr GC should arrive in the mail tomorrow, according to USCIS website. We received the approval letter in the mail a couple days ago.

They didn't really ask me why, but there are a few reasons. To name a few, I'm traveling outside of the US this month and don't have the original extension letter (I've been using the copy). I feel better having done it and I hope that I'll have the new card or completed the N400 before the end of July 2019 :)

I went to get infopass since I'm getting a new job. While they're reluctant to give it at first since I still have three months of extension left but ultimately they accepted by reasoning and gave it to me. Took about an hour and half. When inquire about my case,  all they tell me is the approximate processing time (that I could have gotten from uscis website) and more importantly, CSC is currently handling application of December 2016 fliers. :(

Hello All,

 

I am preparing to file for my N-400 and getting my documents together, While Filling N-400 form I am stuck at the qustion:

Have you ever been arrested, cited, detained by law enforcement officer?

Of course my answer to this is yes as most people because I have received citations in the past 12 years. All my tickets were paid on time and were less than $500. I ahve seen mixed information on internet with some saying better put all the citations and some saying unless it was arrest, DUI, DWI it doesn't matter.

 

Well to be safe I am planning to put all my citation info. however I don't recall dates and locations where I got them. Anyway I can find them out easily? Has anyone else done it already. Please reply.
