We had a an attorney who said we absolutely do not require that, we could have sent 50 if they asked us to.

The interview letter did not specify to bring anything, all it says is that we should show up, and that i should bring my wife. Our ids and passports and any updated proofs. We filed everything possible back in september. For the 2 years since we got the conditional card including the 2 year joint taxes, but when we went to the interview we took updated proof including this years taxes that we weren't even asked for at the interview but we submitted it anyway and the officer took some but not all of what we brought

thank you, that's good insight.

is there an age gap between you and your spouse?

was it california or vermont?

No age gap. Am 39, my wife is 38. She's originally from poland. Lived here most of her life for 30 years with her family. I over stayed my visa and filed to adjust status 8 months after we got married. It took 1 year to have the interview the first time and exactly one year to get the approval. Now we hope we don't have to wait a year for their reply like the first time. We had enough of this. We should have filed earlier and should not have taking 2 years for the first application to process with so much proof and no red flags whatsoever. I don't even have a parking ticket

It could be. Even though when we asked our attorney he said he doesn't think so at all. In fact he said it should be faster filing from usa compare to outside and that over staying a visa is non issue since i had no criminal record or deportation orders. We only had one interview the first time but long wait for the card. And this last interview and still nothing. I read that so many people get approved on the spot

I didn't get approved on the spot the first time but a few days after. Does your attorney had any guess on why you had an interview?

I think attorney's are a complete waste of money. The only reason we hired him is that we both are so busy with work and didn't have the time to look up the instructions on filing and the requested documents. And no he has no clue but did mention to us that he had 10 of those interviews the last couple of months. He thinks they doing more interviews on rocs now days but i haven't seen any proof here

Interesting, I wonder if that's true and if it has to do with Trump's administration or what

what city/state are you at?

When something sounds too good to be true. It usually is. In my experience that is. I know this may sound really silly but can you please confirm 1 more time that you are infact a 2017 I-751 September filer and not a 2016 filer? I know they are working on September 2016 cases but if you are 2017 filer and they have got to you already... This is just amazing news. Good luck! @Waiting4mygreenn

Yes indeed, my attorney filed our file on september 28th 2017. We got reciept notice mid october i don't know the exact date. When i recieved my interview letter i called him and asked how come so fast, he said he already had 2 of his clients with pending roc schedulled interviews one was early september and another late november both 2017. He also told me few days before the interview that there was nothing i should be worried about as he had 10 of his roc clients being interviewed within the previous 2 months but not all recent filers, when i asked him were any of them approved on the spot, he replied none. Everybody was told to wait for a decision but he said like my case they all recieved hints from the officer that its an approval but just a question of time, he said most recieve approval letters within a month but some could take much longer. Anyway thats what he said but its no comfort for me because i had to wait few days plus a whole year for my decision last time and had to do 2 medicals and fingerprints because when they finally decided to adjudicate my case it was almost at the year mark. And waiting is so bad for ones health

Well it depends on what is so good to be true. I was first so excited that we got the interview so quick but now am thinking who knows i might have to wait another year for the decision even tho i know it's an approval
