Hello everyone,

I'm under the first prima facie. I come to USA under f1 visa. If I enroll to graduate programme during pending vawa, what status am i under? F1 or something else? Can I enroll for some language programme (Spanish class) in college?

if you are keeping your status  F1 then you have a F1 visa.If you are not keeping your F1 then  you have a pending  VAWA, and you can study,no problem.

Folks I received an email hours ago  of  a visa journey  member. He was freaking out because  he was  contacted by USCIS, yesterday. He helped several people  to fill out the VAWA/AOS  forms,  he did not charge  anyone. He couldn't  fill out the USCIS  forms because  he is not an attorney  registered  in the U.S,.  USCIS  is randomly asking  at the interview who prepared the  forms. He will have  a hearing  next Thursday.

If you want to help someone the only thing  the  Law allows you to do is to  type , following  everything  the person is saying  but YOU CANNOT fill out the spaces if the person doesnt know what to put ok, and you  MUST LIST YOUR NAME ON THE FORMS STATING YOU ARE THE PREPARER. YOU CANNOT CHARGE TO FILL OUT THE FORMS if you  are not an attorney  in the U.S,  you can go  to jail because  of this!!!! . If you  are a paralegal in the U.S you  can prepare the forms under  orientation /supervision of an attorney.

Do not share your affidavit  with anyone or the psychological  evaluation.

Ziongirl USCIS is reopening  some  AOS denied, filing  motion on its own. Probably  they reopened your AOS.

For those with adjustment of status denied you should file a new adjustment of status, because USCIS is not opening all cases denied.

You will always get two different case numbers as they are two different applications. This is not indicative whether you will get a combo card or not.

I am guessing separate documents, because only the EAD status was updated.

I have an approved Vawa since September, and now I just find out that I’m pregnant from my actual boyfriend.

Will it affect my case?

I’m already divorced from my abusive ex-husband.

You're a single woman, it's not outrageous to be with another man and start over.

It is possible that if you're remarried by the time of AOS interview, it may subject you to some scrutiny but it may all workout too; there isn't much you can do so don't stress  look... Congratulations :) I hope your boyfriend is a good partner and hopefully a good father as well.

Looking at processing times, September should be adjudicated this month.

I still haven't got my EAD approved and it was received on 7th August and I believe there are a lot of more cases left from July/August it just depends how lucky you are
