Hi, is anybody here to get approval of 2016 october cases?

I have several cases filed in Nov 2016 approved already.

Thank you!

Even if I filled for EAD along with my case under category c9? The i-765 status will not change soon (since they are used to take 90 days to send the EAD)?

USCIS  site is not reliable.

Hi, Sandra -

Thank you for all your help on this forum. I attended my AOS interview in Los Angeles based on approved VAWA on Sept. 24th. They interview went ok but not great. I had a very hard time remembering all the dates. they held it for review and we haven't heard since. They told us it could take 90 days but I've heard that they normally approve in a couple of weeks... should I read into this as perhaps there being a problem with my AOS interview? Is this a normal delay?

Makes sense. So they wouldn’t be asking for no RFE once they’ve accepted it and sent u receipt?

Wrong.  They can send you an RFE  anytime until final adjudication of the case. If you  couldn't prove  abuse and/or bonafide marriage,  commune residence, good moral character etx. Some people here posted that  they got even 3 RFEs.

Usually a case well handled doesn't get RFE. I never got one in my life.

I had the impression you asked about RFE. The NBC or local office can issue  RFE after VAWA approval, requesting  proof of bonafide marriage, doccuments  related with  the AOS, and medical exam as well or to do the fingerprints  again.

VSC DOES NOT ADJUDICATE AOS since last year, but the local office.

Thank u. That’s crazy if they request another RFE for bonafide marriage, medical exam after one submitted all these RFE during VAWA

They can issue RFE because VAWA unit will look just your VAWA,not your  AOS. If you file  advance parole and work permit then Vermont adjudicates these two forms but when they are too busy they ship electronically  these two files to other offices.

Is it true that even with AP one can be turned back at the point of entry when returning to the USA after traveling abroad?

Yes, it is stated on AP document that it doesn't guarantee entry.

Even most people with a visa will be allowed to travel to the USA but occasionally visitors get turned away at POE.

I applied for AP as well but I realize that  with the current administration nothing is certain.
