I would not go to a psychiatrist, their psychological  evaluations are not good for VAWA  purposes because they just performed  tests and prescribe medication,  they don't mention the abuse with details.In 15 years I never saw one single good evaluation  done by a psychiatrist.  Find a psychologist  or a counselor  with specialization  in  domestic violence.

@sandranj thank you

After having my i-360 approved BUT no interviewed yet.

I have a question: Do I have to prove (again) anything to the immigration on my interview, like bonafide marriage?

I’m asking because I’m still having some bills on my ex-jerk-husband’s name and I really would like to switch all to my name, but I’m hesitate about having to prove at the interview.

I do not believe you have to proof anything of such. That was what the I360 was about.

You  don't need to keep any bills in his name after you  separated from him.

 I need someone help.I know many people  here lives in Houston. I helped one girl from the Phillipines who was battered, and she lives in the  Phillipines. Her VAWA was approved and her immigrant visa as well. She could file  Vawa abroad becaause her ex husband is a military personnel stationed abroad.

I was able to find a shelter for victims of domestic violence and they  will accept her and her child. I can't disclose the shelter  name or location, but the shelter is 50min from Houston. She doesn't know anyone in the U.S. I want to know if there is anyone here willing to get her at the  airport and drive her 50min to the town where the shelter  is located.The person will drop  her off at the police station and the  shelter  will get her. She should arrive between Nov15 to Dec 7, (probably during the  week). If someone is willing to do this  favor please send me a pm.Thanks.

Priority dates are ONLY for those married to LPRs. You dont have a PD to wait for. Youre considered "immediately available".

Now matter whether you are married to a USC or Green Card holder, the processing time for I-360 form is the same. The difference is about submission of I-485. You can submit I-485 along with I-360 and get EAD while your I-360 is till pending if you are married to a USC. For people who are married to LPR, they can't submit I-485 ( No EAD either) until their I-360 gets approved.

In all, everyone needs to wait the regular time (10-13 months) to get i-360 adjudicated.

Just forget about the PD, which does not apply to you. You should be spending time on writing affidavits and collecting evidence.

I did not change some because I was waiting my social security and I was concerned about bills in both names.

So, now I will switch to my name.

If your I485 was denied then you need to file a new i485, i131, i765 along with i360. A denied i485 means your EAD and AP if you currently have one is canceled. This was important information to share when asking for help. @sandranj would be better able to guide you base on the full details.
