If you have children living  abroad after your  GC is approved you must submit  form l824 in order for your  children  attend interview  abroad.

You have the option to submit form l824 along with your  AOS as well ,if  you didn't submit yet,and don't  put  the approval  date, leave in blank and once the  AOS is approved  USCIS  will process  the form l824 for your  derivatives(your  kids).

Thank you Sandranj. I sent the papers with my spouse last year in October and still don't have a date for AOS yet. I checked the uscis timeline and I think it should be scheduled in 1-2 months. Since we are now divorced and I want to apply for vawa the only form I should send is the I-360 since I have the spouse petition and the I-485? And also if I send the petition before the interview are they gonna cancel the interview or no? Since I can't afford a lawyer I'm going to try to fill everything by myself and I would really appreciate any advices here. Thank you again

When you  get the l360 receipy submit to USCIS  field(where you filed the l485) a letter asking to hold the l485 until  final adjudication  of the VAWA  petition, but  if they  schedule  an interview you  MUST GO ok.

After subsequent enquires about my pending VAWA I-485 case(pending since June 2015) via my congressman and my immigration attorney, I was informed that my case has been returned to VSC from the Field office where i had my I-485 interviews (i been had 2 different interviews since June 2015 ..kinda wierd right!!!) and is pending review by an officer now at the VSC... please what does this mean..??? Thanks everyone.

Thanks Sandra... so what happens if..

(1) My case is reaffirmed

(2) A notice of intent to revoke is sent and what needs be done to fix this..?

Thanks

If the  case is reaffirmed  they  can  issue  the  green card or call you again for another  interview.

If they  decide to revoke they probably  will issue  you  a notice  of intent to deny and you will have  time to answer, but if they believe that you  had a sham marriage  they  will deny without issuing the notice.

Almost two years ago one girl contacted  me here because the local office sent her VAWA case for revocation and until this  day VSC didn't decide her case and she did not receive any letter mentioning  the  reason why her vawa was recommended to be revoked. Her attorney  doesn't  know the reason either.

Okay thank you. Since I'm gonna send that letter to put I-485 on hold do I have the right to apply for EOA renewal based on that or do I have to submit a new Employment authorization form request with I-360? My current one will expire in January.

As long as you have a pending I-485, you can renew your EAD under category C9.

Hi all,

I applied for I-360, I-485 and I-765(c-09 category) in 09/12/2016 to Vermont Service Center.

EAD card received on 03/23/2017.

Now I want to renew my EAD card based on my pending I-485, which office am I suppose to send my I-765(c-09 category) renewal application?

My attorney sent them to Chicago Lockbox, and I received receipt Notice today starting with  MSC************.

Does my attorney submitted at right address? Or what is the right way?

Please guide me, I'm really worried. Thank you all.
