Good morning, I hope everyone is doing well.

I have one question:

If they are asking for evidence of good faith marriage for the i-360 form, could them ask for evidence of good faith marriage again for i-485? I mean, after vawa approved?

Thank you.

No, I don’t think so,has your vawa been approved already ?what was ur timeline please? Thanks

The data you incited is the data of I-360 juveniles.

We should check the following table:

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports and Studies/Immigration Forms Data/Citizenship/I360_VAWA_performancedata_fy2017_qtr4.pdf

They will probably update 1st quarter, 2017 on April, 2018.

He never came to the interview so I went alone with my attorney and handed him a copy of the I360 I filed and he ask if I want to hold the current i485 or file a new one. I told him for security purposes I will be filing a new one and he advised that I file and request expedited EAD to continue working. Said he will decline my old petition once New EAD was produced so I could keep my job.

my officer denied my i130 petition for nyc too but now I reappled for my new EAD from nov 2017  passed 75 days and still no response am so worried my job already came to me 4 times about it ...only have like 12 days for it to be expired .....sigh all this wait

Hi, I'm new here. My I-360 case was approved on February 17, and I got an approval letter in the end of April 17. Then my I-485 was reopened and after some letters and calls to uscis they asked me to send an updated medical record papers, which my lawyer sent them in October 11. After that time - whole silence. I wrote them letters, my lawyer and me - separately - had appointments with immigr. officers. I know that from August 17 they made a new regulation to provide interview for every body. Before those interview were formal, but how they are now? Are there anybody that had an experience with such an interview for I-485 with approved I-360 form int the last 6 months? Can you share your experience, please. What did they ask and how it went? Did you change the attitude?

Thank you in advance

I think your local office is in charge of scheduling your interview, so it really depends on the workload of your local office. Go to the USCIS website and check the processing time of your local office. In some cities, it takes longer than a year to have the interview date.

The  interview  and procedures did not change.  I had people  who  had the  GC issued after interview  and  2 others without interview, one case was in Nov 2017 and another one January 2018.

For NICOLA2017

Check up if your case is available for 180 day automatic extension for EAD. This new regulation works from January 2017 . If you are eligible take your receipt and copy of the article I mentioned and show to your manager.

@Veronika691 thank you will do

Sandra, fellow V'Jer's, this is worrying news! It means battered spouses who receive public benefits will eventually be denied GC's!! I will be forfeiting my Medicaid benefits soon if this is true! Any thoughts?
