If I may ask,  what date did you file in April 2017? Did you receive the Prima facie extension yet? Mine was April 25th.

Thanks.

This is a memorandum from USCIS to the USCIS onbudsman regarding adjudication of Form I-765, Applications for Employment Authorization, or EAD applications. The memo is still valid.

Expeditiously provide information to the public stating the cause of EAD processing delays and how the delays will be addressed.

"...When processing delays result from issuance of a Request for Evidence (RFE), USCIS will explain how the issuance of the RFE affects the 90-day period. When issuing an RFE for initial information, USCIS will advise the applicant that the 90-day period is automatically rescinded and that, upon receipt of the requested information, a new 90 day period begins. Likewise, when an RFE is issued for additional information, USCIS will advise the applicant that the 90-day period is automatically suspended and that, upon receipt of the requested information, the 90-day period will continue from the point of interruption".

I would like to know if anyone know anything about my situation or had similar experience

I left my husband while we were in process to adjust my status a month after our GC interview

couple months after I received a GC denial notice because my husband (the petitioner) withdrew my application.

I reached out to an advocacy agency and they told me about VAWA and offered to help

I filed for VAWA on aug2017 and received prima facia and nothing until yesterday when ICE officers came to where I live and told me that they were confused about my previous addresses and they just want to confirm they asked me to write it on paper and they left.

That’s strange...were you ever under their radar? Were you ever placed under removal status?  Unless there’s more to your story, that’s strange.

I agree with Sunkissed, that sounds really odd.  I mean, if they wanted to confirm your address they could ask you for a utility bill under your name or something, sounds weird to send ICE officers out just to verify your address.  Have you ever dealt with them before at any point in time?

never, I always follow the rules and consult with the right people. maybe it is something my husband said I have no Idea my father in law threatened that he will deport me if I don't get back to his son.

exactly there are many ways to confirm my addresses. no I have never dealt with them, I even quit my job right after I received the denial notice before my EDA even expired just to make sure that am on the save side and not doing anything wrong.
