Hi

I need some advice.

I sent my papers in October 23th.

I’m waiting for my EAD/AP, and today I just received an updated of REQUEST OF ADICIONAL EVIDENCE on my i-360 form.

Please someone can help me, what is this Request of Adicional evidence can be for?

Also, is it going to delay my EAD approval?

Thank you.

Did you file in October 2017 or 2016?

if 2017, then it will most likely be general stuff like police clearance or birth certificate or something missing from the essential paperwork. If 2016, it could be more proof for bonafide marriage, abuse, good moral character or in-depth things like that.

Your I-765 is a separate application and has nothing to do with the processing time of your other petitions. It will not delay EAD.

Sorry I forgot to mention that. I filled in October 23 2017. I'm waiting for my EAD (100 days).

Do you think since they are touching my file they should approve my EAD soon? Because since they issued the RFE it means that they are with me paper on their hands, right? I mean, I hope so lol

What's the difference between RFE and Request of Additional Evidence? Does it change something?

RFE is the abbreviation for Request for Evidence. It’s the same thing.

They are asking for evidence to establish prima facie case. Just wait until you receive the RFE and then we can help you answer it.

Your EAD timeline and I-360 timeline are different. One does not influence the timing of the other.

hi I need help I'm new to this forum and I have been following it my work permit is going to expire on March 26, 2018, how do I renew it I have a pending vawa case

It’s the same form I-765 you used for filing the first time. Fill it in the same way you did before just check renewal instead of first time. If you have a pending I-485 check category c9.

How long after you applied for a Prima facie Renewal did you receive it?

Was the renewal sent sent to you before the old one expired or after? Thank you

Mine was supposed to expired 12/15/2017, I sent request to renew 11/20/2017, more than 60days now I sent it, till date no response and I am beginning to wonder if they sent it to my old address, although I did address change.

Request a copy from your lawyer and then you can easily fill in the fields needed.

AP is a separate form I-131. If you file both together, you will get a combo card again. If you file them at different times, you might get EAD and AP separately.

If you can’t afford the filing fee, make sure to include the fee waiver document.

Look up fee waiver I-912 on the USCIS website. The requirements are stated there. If you make below minimum wage or if you can justify why you don’t have enough money for both forms, it should be okay.

Oh wow 😳 that’s too long. Have you done an Info pass?

Do you use your card to buy food? (I hope not) because 60 Days is a long time to go without that card if you don’t have any support.

Ok will look into that. This is from a previous state I lived at though...I’m not sure how I can get them to do a fingerprint given that I’m no longer residing in that state. Unless I travel back to get it done🤔
