That’s a big jump compared to how slowly they were moving before! There is hope that many approvals are coming!

I think they are adjudicating November/December 2016 cases at the moment since the most current processing times are for November 30th, 2017.

Hello everyone, hope your week is coming great given all we have to live with...

I know there’s a letter on the USCIS site that states VAWA applicants can get FAFSA with the Prima facie.

I’m on the FAFSA website trying to apply and of course it’s asking for a social which I don’t have 😏🤔

does it mean I have to go to the campus office to apply on paper or how do you all do it ( I mean those without a social) thank you

You can apply without a ss number but you will have to do it (cannot apply online) manually and must provide a copy of your prima facie. I think the best way is to go to your local fasfa/financial aid office on campus and have them help you.

Thank you...the problem is I’m in a different state from where the campus is @ the moment. Will call them in the morning and hopefully they’ll allow to scan or fax the forms to them...thank you for responding.

Hi @Ikeyes

I had the same exact situation except the card was my EAD. What I did was I made an inquiry and request through my congressman which helped me a lot and replied to USCIS with the orange paper which was a change of address and also wrote my request to them in writing. The request in writing is imperative. Write about your situation and why you couldn’t receive it, your current address and that you’ve applied for VAWA.

Hope this will help

@ Mmmm

Thank

you very much.I much  appreciate you advice .

Hello everyone, hope we all are doing okay and keeping our fingers crossed.

Anyway I have question about i-485 after the i-360 approval.

Do you still maintain your priority date when your case is transferred to your local office or it starts from the time your local office receives it when it's transferred over from the NBC.

Thanks.

Hi

I need some advice.

I sent my papers in October 23th.

I’m waiting for my EAD/AP, and today I just received an updated of REQUEST OF ADICIONAL EVIDENCE on my i-360 form.

Please someone can help me, what is this Request of Adicional evidence can be for?

Also, is it going to delay my EAD approval?

Thank you.
