If you submitted police clearance for three years then you need to just write a letter explaining that you don't have any criminal record. It is one on the requirement.

I got the same RFE, I'm Nov 8th 2016 filer.  Include a letter stating that as far as you know you do not have any criminal history.  I included police clearance from both cities I've lived in in the past 3 years as well as the state clereance.  Since it's been over a year, I recommend you submit new ones even if you already sent a state clereance in. 

 

Edit: My RFE stated that I had submitted character references for good moral character from family and friends affadavits, so they weren't asking for those, just the criminal history clearance.  Did you submit affadavits from friends, family or acquaintences originally?

Yes I did submit affidavits .

do I need state background check or fbi fingerprint check? I’m requesting police clearance from my country.what else should I do?

Hi Sandra and everyone!

This is a question in regards to police clearance. Does VAWA law specifically require a 'statewide police clearance" or a city/county-wide police clearance? Will one get rfe if he didn't submit a statewide clearance? how about foreign police clearances that have expiry dates? will one be required to submit another one when the case is adjudicated since the one submitted will most likely be expired at the time of adjudication?

I’v submitted statewide clearance in original package.but still got rfe for good moral character:(

Did you declare your good moral character in your own words towards the end of your personal affidavit which you sent with your package?

Hi guys, my husband went into my email and found out I was gathering VAWA documents. He deleted proof of residence and the affidavit of support. He is also making threats to dirt me so now I know I have to file even though I've been on the fence. I don't have the NOA2 since he was hiding all these documents . I just the NOA1 what can I use instead to prove status?

How long have you been married? Did you try filing i130,485 or any other petition before now?

if you can get police clearance  from your country that will be it. they asked me same thing.
