I don't think you need to file I-485 again. After you file your I-360, you can ask to put your I-485 on hold. 

You need to check C9 in order to get EAD before your I-360 gets adjudicated, so you can work while you are waiting for your I-360.

If you have collected all the evidence, you'd better submit as soon as possible because I-360 takes more than 1 year to get adjudicated.

If you have got your fourth prima facie, does that mean your case is most likely not to be adjudicated by the end of this month? Such a long waiting.

It takes about 15 months currently to receive a response from USCIS about I-360 currently, so that would be within the 4th prima facie time frame. 

 

1st Prima Facie: Month 1-6

2nd Prima Facie: Month 6-12

3rd Prima Facie: Month 12-14

4th Prima Facie: Month 14-16

You have to check your local office processing time,not Vermont.

Hi again. I got an email from my attorney asking for missing information: she asked for pretty much everything I’d provided before: Height, weight, my mothers city of birth, employment history, ex husband city of birth.  I truly feel like they’ve been neglecting my case and I’m sure this means a 5th RFE. Why all this delay? They’ve been asking for evidence for almost a year now. Since May2017.

Yes,  I guess it’s normal. I’m on my 4th prima facie and have been waiting for the past 19 months now.

If your I-485 is still pending do not file a new one.

They transfered to NBC your case, they transfer all cases to NBC after VAwa approval.

All cases are submitted to NBC after VAWA approval. It doesn't have anything to do if they will set up an interview or not.

I got all my new evidence turned in for my RFE today, and it made me realize that USCIS is super picky.  They wanted a self written letter stating that to my knowledge I had no criminal history and even though I had already submitted a state criminal record clearance... because my maiden name was not listed in the letter itself (Even though all my names/aliases were searched) USCIS did not accept that clearance.  It had to list all the names on the letter (Which was a huge hassle because the police departments and state agency weren't used to doing it that way)  or I had to provide a state clearance that was searched using fingerprints.  (I provided clearances to all the cities AND a state fingerprint clearance just in case.)

We've been waiting since 2016 so don't stress & try not to think about until summer or fall (if USCIS keeps this pace it's 15+ months waiting)

Look up your closest field office for processing times. I wouldn’t be surprised if NY was taking around 10 months for I-485 right now.
