I haven't tried but according to my lawyer in the state of Florida they will accept Prima Facie to demonstrate legal status.

Yeah, was wondering if any filers in New York has used it to get their drivers license, even though if approved will have a limited months on depending on how long the prima facie is good for. Any input from New Yorkers will be appreciated thanks.

  • Can someone please advice me or tell me what can I do to see why is my case taking so long and what can I do. I mean i live in fear every day that I will be deported and get constantly harassed and threatened by my abuse,r how he is going to deport me how he has friends within the USCIS and if i don't do what he ask im geting deported that he alredy started the removal procedure and soon I will get deported and the USCIS will see that he was the victum and that im an imigrant and noone gives a about people like me and how after all that he will chace me like a dog and ll that. Please if anyone knows what can I do or how to see if im really getting deported because according to him everything will be over soon and he has been taking care of whatever he needed to do to get me deported.

Why are u still corresponding with your abuser? As far as you have a VAWA pending I do not believe u can be under deportation proceedings and he has absolutely no power to influence USCIS to deport u...that’s laughable.Stop letting him take u for granted. Block his number and contact ur Congress man or woman to do a congressional enquiry on ur behalf

House.gov

enter your zip code.

Once u find ur representative

call hm or her

then u will be sent a privacy or disclosure form giving them power to contact USCIS on ur behalf

It is his or her duty to represent their constituents which is what u are and they get paid tax dollar to serve u. So they will never give u attitude but help sort ur problem. Once u call, tell them about ur situation I.e. the longer than necessary wait and ask them to help inquire etc. they will ask u for ur details in the form which they will send to u and also u will sign n include relevant document to stress reason y u need inquiry. Hope this helps

Hello guys just a quick update on my EAD, I filled using category c9 on November 21 2017. On January 8 USCIS received my request for expedited processing, I did this myself, I had no job offer or what so ever, I wrote a letter to USCIS and chooses financial hardships explaining that I am unable to use the prima facie for any benefit in Houston so I need to work to take care of myself. This morning I received a notification and when I checked online it says " MY NEW CARD IS BEEN PRODUCED" it took just 5days for USCIS to approve my EAD. I have heard some people saying it's not possible to do it yourself or without job offer, but God did it for me. I am encouraging those that are thinking of expedite to give it a try with God everything will work out fine.🙏🙏😁😁

Hello folks,

How was the experience for you guys opening a inquire on the website to expedite the process? Does it work by any chance? Or they don't accept it since we are VAWA petitioners?

Next Steps

  • Next upcoming event

If we accept your case, you will receive a receipt notice.  If we reject your case, we will send you an explanation with instructions.

  • List Bullet

As of January 16, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1***********VSC, is currently not assigned for processing.

You can only request to expedite I-765/I-131 or I-485. They do not expedite I-360.
