Hi there, please see my time line above.  I submitted an affidavit of my abuse and then i also had a restraining order from my husband trying to run me down with the car.  I did not get an RFE.  Good luck in your journey!

Anyone here got VAWA approved with out prima facie? I know it’s not a basis for approval or denial but I was just curious if anyone is on the same boat as me having no prima facie?

Do u mean and ntetview for I-485? Coz my VAWA was approved same month as urs.

You can choose both  option  hardship  and bellow poverty  line. Mention  you don't  have assets or savings. Explain  If you are working, how much  you have to spend montly, if you are receiving  food stamps mention this and submit a copy  of the  benefit.  If you are staying in someone 's house get a letter  stating about it.

 

In the l912 you should mention  to waive the fees regarding l485,l765 and l-131(if you are filing these forms). If you are just renewing  form l765 using same category  C9 there is no fees to  renew the  EAD.

Waiving  the fees is not related with approval ou denial of the Vawa case.

 

A strong case of abuse usually  has a  police  report,or shelter letter,hospital  history, restraining  order or a great psychological  evaluation.

The officer   will not ask this kind of question but in case the officer  asks just tell the truth.I assume you didn't want to have a child with  an abuser right.

I got! Mine was approved in September 2017 without any RFE and no Prima facie.
