Thanks for your quick response, I filed but I never included my police report, so far it's been 8 months, so when I read here I went to the police station and they told me they do not understand what that is, so I never got one so should expect an rfe for the same, and how do I go about it? Thanks,

I did mine in Houston, I called the police department and told them I needed police clearance for immigration purpose, the lady emailed me the form and asked me to fill it and mail it back to them with my photo ID and the fee, I was able to use my international passport as id, within two weeks I got the response in my mail box. I think it's best to contact the police department in your area they should guide you

Check the following document to see if help. There should be a way to get a local or state police check letter, maybe different in each states.

My senator heard back from the Congressional Liaison.

"Your constituents form I-360 is pending with an officer.  Your constituent should receive a notice or decision shortly on that petition."

Now I'm a bundle of nerves and my anxiety is making me doubtful. What if it's denied, what if I get RFEs, ect, ect.  :dead:

It usually takes another 30-45 days for a final decision to be reached when you first get this message.  Good luck!

When the lady that I helped got this message, it took exactly another 30 days for her VAWA I-360 status changed to "Case Approved", as expected since she did not have any RFEs.

Oh ok, your previous EAD was along with your I130 and the one approved yesterday is with your I360 case?

Your notice date is November 15, what about your received date?

My two previous EAD's were 130. The recent one was VAWA.

If you get an RFE just answer the best you can. They may approve you case, don't be pessimist. There is no time limit for USCIS to give you the decision after the congress person  inquired about your case. I had cases that USCIS took 48 hours after the congress person inquired and other cases took  3/4months.Just be patient.

Thank you Sandra, we also sent a request over 3 weeks ago to renew the prima facie that was expired and we haven't heard back yet, the non profit helping me thinks it's a good sign if they don't renew it because it means my case may just get adjucated instead.

Most October filers got approvals in late December, 2017. I think November filers are likely to hear something in late January because USCiS officers need time to review documents and make online updates. Wish we all hear good news without RFES.

Anyone here ever heard about the immigration issue the social security?

I heard today from a friend that around 15 days around biometrics, USCIS will be sending the Social for the petitioner and what we know about 3/4 months the work permit.

I never heard about it and never read about ir here before.

Is it something new or what??

Ok I just found it at USCIS website.

Based on a new information-sharing partnership between U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA), foreign nationals in certain categories or classifications can now apply for work authorization and a social security number using a single form – the updated Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.

Hello folks, any New Yorkers here? Has anyone been able to use their Prima facie to get a driver’s license? Thanks

I’m pretty sure you can’t use Prima Facie no matter where you are for getting a driver’s license. It is only for public benefits but doesn’t show your immigration status. Your EAD will be the only thing that can help you getting your driver’s license.
