Some October 2016 are still waiting. They are adjudicating some November/December 2016 already according to Sandra but in this forum most people from that time haven’t heard back yet.

It takes about 14-15 months currently, so you might have to wait until April/May.

True, mine is October 7th and I'm still waiting

If you have a pending i-485 go ahead and apply for the EAD category c09 with a copy of your i-485 and photos.

If your lawyer is mad but you obtain your EAD, will it matter to you?

Thank u so much , but I also need to waive the fee so which form should I file for that. And do I need to add my i360 receipt as well or not.

Attach your receipt and if possible the prima facie too.You will have to use form i-912 for fee waiver and also attach any evidence that shows you don't have the money to pay, like public benefit letter if you are currently using any. But in my case I did not fill out the fee waiver form. I was able to get the fee waived by just  writting a letter explaining why I don't have money to pay the fees, USCIS waived the fees  without requesting any evidence. Hopes this helps.

Hello folks, I have a quick question, I need to file for change of address (form AR-11)

and also request for an extension on my Prima facie

My question is, can I put both in one envelope or I should separate them?

2. Is there a form for the extension or I need to write it out myself? Thank you

You can file the AR11 electronically and then submit the physical application for a prima facie extension by itself. Your address would have already been updated by the time they process it. much faster

Question:  Would I look at field office I live in or field office to where my safe address is located?

Your safe address is considered your "mailing address" provided to protect victims of domestic abuse, your physical address where you actually live would be one used to determine your closest field office.

@iwillsurvive I am a Feb filer as well. They are adjudicating November and December for some persons but as with USCIS there are still cases from maybe sept-oct that are yet to be adjudicated.

In my case I was unable to do a change of address for vawa online, the USCIS officer told me I MUST submit mail paper form to vsc because anything relating to vawa can not be done online for safety reasons.

+1. VAWA related cases can't use online AR11 to change addresses. Please read the instructions.

Did you get 3 RFEs or 4 in total?

Who lost your evidence, your attorney or USCIS ?

(When response to a RFE, you have to include all evidence and affidavits even those document has been submitted previously since VSC may only look at your responses for that matter.)

Who said you would get an answer by 3rd of Jan. 2018? (I would not trust the attorney's guess. If VSC says one will get a final decision in 30-45 days, or something like that, one will usually get it.)

If you have a true vawa case, your attorney is not a qualified one considering three RFEs...

4 RFEs in total was sent to me by the uscis

USCIS responded to my attorney that they would send an answer on 3rd Jan 2018.

It doesn’t look like my attorney was submitting everything at once Because the last RFE asked for ‘ALL evidence’ again.  Things that I submitted long time ago. My attorney sent me an email stating that “All evidence was needed again “ and I was like, how though? If I submitted everything? She just said she believed USCIS might have lost my documents and she had to resend all of them.

Now there’s a new online update saying That VCS received all RFE and theyll look at my case again.

And my case is areal VaWA case without a doubt. I’m just worried why its taking so long? Does this mean it will get denied.  Do I schedule INFOpass?

Here does any one know what month is USCIS is processing? I filled in Feb 2017!

Hi everyone! I filled in Feb, 2017. Uscis received my case 2/21/2017. Yesterday i received a case status information e mail from uscis. They mentioned “your case status: initial review.” After i received this mail, i checked my profile on uscis website and saw that the last updated date was changed as 1/8/2018. Obviously i don’t know what that means.

Understood. Just wait unless USCIS asks for others. It looks like your attorney has responded to all RFEs and perhaps you will receive a final decision soon. InfoPass won't be any helps for your VAWA I-360 decision. They will only give your same status as that on USCIS website. Good luck!

Most VAWA cases will receive a "initial review" email notice. It is just "initial review", as it says and you should not worry about it. The good thing is your case is not being forgotten. Good luck!
