Howcome? I would have thought December 2016 will be getting decided in February according to recent timelines

I was thinking if they keep the same pace of adjudicating 14 days per month, it should be around that time. Hopefully I doesn’t get any slower.

Hi all the vjers advice needed my work authorization is going to expire in may 2018, I have an attorney, can I renew it on my own

I did this recently because I would have been required to pay an additional $500.00 for them to do something I did relatively easy on my own. I got my renewal card in hand in December. So yes, definitely you can!

Hi all, just looking for insight.

I submitted my EAD/AP renewal in September and is still pending. My EAD expired a month later. Now my ID expires in a few days and the DMV refuses to renew with the 180 day extension letter.

It seems the process is taking longer than usual but I have no clue what to do.

Also, has anyone successfully used AP under the current administration? I'm so scared but haven't seen my family in years and would love to honestly weep in my mother's arms after all I've been through. I'm just so nervous about leaving.

Thanks.

I would check another DMV, and bring the receipt, you could print and bring the document below as well. That's what I did, sometimes you have to help these people do their jobs. Some DMV are aware of what to do others and will do it instantly others you may have to tell to open  SAVE account to verify that you qualify for the automatic extension with DHS. Don't be deterred, it can be done just try another location.

I have a question about marriage. My VAWA was approved in 2016, and I got GC in 2017. Separated with my husband in 2015. Can i get married with a guy with no status in the USA? Or I have to wait until I get citizenship and after to do this? I have to wait 2 years more in this case. And does it effect my status or not?

Considering  he was inspected  by immigration when he entered then you  can get married and file l-130 and when his l130 is approved  and a visa number becomes available then  he  will file for AOS. It may take 2/3 years. When you become American  you can update his category  from F2 to immediate relative.

He will not get work permit  before filing form l-485.

Take your  time  to know him better. Meet his friends and family, make sure he treats you well. Keep in mind that excessively jealously  is a big " No, No".

Thank you, Sandra, for your rapid response. Yes, I am agree with you. After what happened before with me, and all of us, we have to be very very careful choosing the partner. Still I cannot walk outside on my own, I am still suffering inside. It takes time to treat, unfortunately.  And I have to live and I want kids and Family soooo much. But,  first - to become independent, after  marriage.

Yes, off course, if you do not care about he/she may become angry when he/she knows that.  USCIS will accept your forms and won’t tell your attorney.

Please which form will I use plus I used my attorney address for everything initially pls detailed advice needed. Then I will like to request for prima facie.
