She is correct. A job offer is one of expedite criteria and is the one commonly used. It is hard to find a job without EAD but some people do.  Be patient if you do not meet any of the expedite criteria. EAD will come sooner or later if you have a pending I-485. Good luck!

Can one use this criteria to attempt to receive an expedite EAD if VAWA was filed under c-33 and has never had an EAD in the past? I need to be able to work, don’t have a place to stay because I can’t legally work. Bouncing from Friend to Friend. Can’t go to a shelter because they say “I’m not in immediate danger”.

**Also does it matter the line of Work to be considered for an expedition? Thank you

I don't believe so. For c33 you will need to wait for i360 to be approved. Did you or your attorney file i485 with the i360?

Update on my I-360 timeline:

10.16.2016 - Filed I-360

10.25.2016 - receipt and prima facie

In the mean time I applied for AOS, EAD and extension for my Prima Facie.

12.20.2017 - Received notice that my I-360 case was approved.

I received no RFE's, had two Prima Facies and am very happy with this Christmas Present from USCIS. The past couple of weeks were excruciating to say the least... Will keep everyone posted regarding my AOS and it's time for me to apply for my EAD renewal.

I wish everyone (especially Sandra) warm and cozy Holidays.

You are so lucky☺

C33  is for DACA. You may be talking about C31, which is for approval of vawa I-360 and will only be approved after i-360 is approved.

No

If you had filed the i485 concurrently you could have filed in category c9 and with that request expedite, (with c31 you'll have to wait for approval) some lawyers opt to file the i360 first as opposed to filing both i360 and i485 because if the i360 is denied for concurrent filers then the person could be placed removal proceedings.

Can anyone advice im filing for my child i485 its so confusing first what categoru shud i write in category in part 1 as if i write anything part 1 a-1gthen i have to write supplement A then again in part 2 its my self petition so he doesn’t have any petition receipt of his own as he was my derivative first so dont know do i have to put my receipt no or leave ot blank. Then again part it asks whether he had applied for permanent residence so he was on my i130 petition as derivative but as my husband didnt reach but we went there so it was considered abandoned due to my husband absence and denied so do i have to write that he applied with as a derivative or not. In part 4 my son writes his first father name so his first father name wudbe there or his usc father (usc father name is not any his official document) there are so many points vonfusing he was on my petition as derivative but if i am filing separately  i 485  so can anyone help me if they had filed gor their children .. please thx

The category on your child's I-485 could be same as yours. However, I barely understand what you were trying to ask. Your post is very confusing to me.

You may describe your situation, timelines and status line by line, with punctuation and/or paragraphs. Then ask questions one by one so that others can understand  your questions and will be able to help you out.

It doesn't mean your VAWA will be approved because you have Prima Facie . Prima Facie is issued for you to apply for public benefits, nothing else. You can apply for medicaid, some States give food stamps, you need to check in your State.
