Named wrong local consulate office on I-129F

I was just wondering how bad would it be if we listed the wrong local consulate office on our I-129F petition. The thing is, at the time, I quickly went online and saw that there was an office in Toronto (where I live). However, the Toronto office does not handle K1 Visas. Montreal Does.

Think this is bad or they'll realize and change it to Montreal?

ahhh you're not the first and you'll certainly not be the last to make that honest mistake. they'll figure it out based on your address in Canada and send it to Montreal

If I am not mistaken, only Montreal and Vancouver do "K" visas.... If you put Toronto they would change it because of that anyways....

I put Toronto, too, as more of a wishful thinking type thing. I mean, it does say on the form to list the local consulate or embassy.

Yup.. we put Toronto too . NVC had no issues with that and sent it to Montreal.

We put Ottawa because at the time we had no idea only Vancouver and Montreal handled K1 visas, but they just automatically sent it to Montreal based on my address, I guess. We didn't have to do anything.

Mel put Calgary even though I told him 50 times they don't do those Visas. He did put Vancouver as the other choice though.

So does Toronto do IR1/CR1's????? Just curious cause it sounds like everything is either Montreal or Vancouver
