Hey guys! I am just now starting to gather evidence and get the paperwork started and put together for the I-129F for our K-1 visa. I just wanted to get rid of some doubts and questions I have about it! Hopefully someone can help :)

1. How many of you guys made two full I-129F applications? One to send, and one to keep for yourself. I know some people did this and others not. Opinions? And also, my fiancé is Brazilian, so I don't know if any of you have any experience with taking the application with you to specifically the interview in Rio de Janeiro?

2. My fiancé and I have been together for a little over four years, and I have more than enough evidence to show all our visits and whatnot, but I don't have too many messages sent between us, I have a few but I don't think I need that many right? I mean we message a lot, but some of it would involve going way back through some things on my phone to find something meaningful to put in there, I have plenty of facebook/instagram posts of ours, and some including ones our friends were tagged with us. How many messages did you send? We also are Facetime people, so when I go back to get the logs of our many calls, on the apple phone and how facetime is set up, it only shows the one most recent call in the phone log. Anyone have experience with this, lol?

3. What do you suggest we package all of this in when it is finished? I always see videos on youtube that look super nicely put together where they use the folders with the plastic holders for the papers, how do you feel about this? Too annoying for the officer reviewing our application? I feel like just paper clipping it all together isn't the absolute best way to send it off, but I'm not sure!

4. Do we no longer need to include the biographic paper in our application? There is no updated one on the website and there is already a biographic part on the I-129F so I hear that is no longer needed. Should I send it just to be safe even though it is an expired form? Or leave it out?

Thanks so much for the help and support!! <3

1. No reason to make two packages. You just keep the originals of everything (keep forms you fill out saved on your PC so you can go back and see what you answered, keep original boarding passes, photos and everything else you send in)  so in case your package gets lost you can easily make new copies. No reason to make two copies of everything when you have the originals. Just make more copies if/when needed.

2. You don't need to send any, USCIS are only interested in proof that you have met in person within the last two years.

3. We put everything in one pile, in the same order as listed on the cover letter. Put everything in a manila envelope and shipped it off. Could use the priority envelopes they have at USPS too.

4. G-325A is not needed.

Also, if I'm going to be using a co sponsor , that doesn't get sent in with the I-129F correct? It goes after?

You send all the financial documents to your fiancé so s/he can bring it to the interview.
