Got green card but I-131 denied

Hi got my green card a week ago.... got email today to say my status on I-131 has been denied ??? Is it denied or cancelled.  Very confusing.... anyone know ?  Thanks

well since you got your green card. You don`t need I-131 anymore so you are good to go. It is probably canceled but even it is says denied does not really matter anymore.

Thanks. But the word denied completely throws you .... after all the stress ( bucket loads ! )of the whole process, they could word it better !

Yes, they can!

 

I ran into something during our CR-1 petition process and got a "generic" email from NVC after our case reached their way, which read a lot like the case was in danger of being denied and/or put on hold. I called frantically and was told, it is generic, means nothing and the case just arrived and has not even yet been assigned to an officer. 

 

Goes to show you...their wording & generic communication can use a little "tweaking"

Completely understand about that but as said earlier you have your greencard now so I-131 is not needed.
