My fiancee booked her CFO in Manila for September 14.  We are not expecting the NOA2 until late October.  She  had no issue and it stated on the site that adults (20 to 60) can take the GCP at CFO with or without their visa.

You can take it with or without the visa, but need to return after getting the visa to get the sticker.

However, I thought they needed the NVC case number (which you obviously won't get for a couple weeks after NOA2)?

No NVC case number is required.  Children (12 to 19) have to take a peer counseling seminar and they ARE required to have the visa in place prior to scheduling.

I am the one who did the registration for my fiancee as she has no computer.  She was on the phone with me as we went through the process.  Have a 2x2 passport photo ready to upload as that is required.  She got a filled out form back with her picture and a barcode that they will use to track her progress.

So I guess I can schedule mine soon?so by the time we're aporoved and have my visa I can save time and money since plane tickets to cebu now is much cheaper, expecting expensive plane tickets since it's almost "ber" months😁. But anyway hope we will have noa2 soon. Thank you guys for sharing your ideas.

I do suggest doing it now and getting it out of the way.  Where are you located?  My fiancee is lucky.  She lives in metro Manila so classes, SLEC and USEM are close by.

I'm heading to Manila tomorrow night for a visit.

I don't see any such requirement, so I guess so too. Cool. I also requested moving the thread to the PI forum since this is USEM-specific.

I believe Cebu is a walk in.  Manila required the appointment and we took one of the first available.  It was about 4 weeks out with the appointment.  Good luck and I hope all goes well for you.

I agree with moving it.  This also came up in April and June filers, too.

You need the petitioner's and beneficiaries names and birthdates.  You need a 2x2 passport photo to upload.  I've attached what she got after registration.  It has what you need to bring to the seminar...
