I didn't go to jama in 2017 last there sept 2016. after the interview on Aug 4th 2017. The woman was more interested in our age difference , and made her cry,  she handed her n paper with email address and said have your USA man send us more information about relationship. So I sent new chat logs, western union transactions, and the reasons why I didn't go in 2017, which were saving for wedding, honeymoon and other expenses like plane tickets. We then got an email saying for her to send passport at dhl. which she did aug. 18. The status on ceac says under administration review still as of this morning. She did call the embassy after the email to send passport to make sure that's all they needed, luckily she got n nice lady that actually read the email I had sent while they were on the phone and she said yes they got the email was fine and to send just the passport. So age was n factor and the the time of actually seeing each other. We also are in contact with n Jama that came to usa last November and she told us that the AOS process is even stricter. They will actually come to your home and make sure everything is fine, that your living together, and will even do separate interviews at the home.

That they ask her to send her passport probably is a good sign. How big is the age difference between you 2? Yes AOS is stricter but not in all cases they go to your house to verify that all is correct and legit. They do that when they suspect that marriage is fraud.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the age difference between you and your fiancé?

Based on what your just wrote, I would believe that you guys are okay since they asked for passport because that would mean that they will process her K-1 visa, but don't quote me as fact.

However, I will say this...you guys might run into a more detailed or strict questions during AOS because it seems that you guys didn't provide much proof of an ongoing relationship. Chat logs are not 100% proof of ongoing relationship and western union transactions are sometimes look at as red flags because it can look like she is scamming you or vice versa (not saying that is the case, just giving you an example).

Age difference is typically not an issue as long as you have more proof that the relationship is real/bonfide. According to you, it had almost been a year since you last saw her from the time she went to her interview, that is definitely a red flag because for the Embassy, you don't have any additional proof of being around each other. Jamaica is a high-risk fraud country, so they need to be able to see as much proof as they can to determine there's no fraud.

If I were you, I would advise that you both do your research and prepare for a hard AOS interview process if you both are unable to provide substantial amount of proof of a real relationship.

thank u both, yes they email I had sent helped our cause, they initially wanted me to go there for 2nd interview, but as of now they saying just her passport. Yes we will be prepared better for the AOS part. We were expecting the age diff. to flag us. I could b her daddy. The times we met had plenty of pics and engagement pics that I had sent before to show we were in n serious relationship. I had also talked to her Mom to make sure she was ok with us being married. She gave her blessing and was willing to come to 2nd interview if needed.

passport usually means she will get her visa

to all those going thru the process, u should not include western union receipts / looks like the USA person is being used for money

it may be ok in some countries but the high fraud ones NO especially when USC (in the case) is a woman sending to a man

I think your fiance will be fine - It is a good sign when they asked for her passport. Unfortunately, big gap in age difference is one of the many red flags that they look for see link http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/red-flags-that-make-uscis-suspect-marriage-fraud.html

You are not the first and surely wont be the last.

I hope they approve her visa soon.
