Anderson was watching Hurricane Harvey coverage on TV in San Francisco when she had an apoplectic fit upon seeing a Confederate flag on the back of a rescue boat in Houston, Texas.

After being slammed for her politicization of a deadly disaster, Logan Anderson said she’d allow the boat to rescue her if she needed help. “But I’d tear off the flag and drop it into the flood,” she quipped.

That's how a majority of us Southerners were raised, it doesn't matter what's your race if a person is in need you help out.

Indeed. And those "confederate" types helped people without regard to race and should be praised. 

 

Of course, I think this is less of an issue of those who are from Texas and more likely an issue from those from the other states.. much more relative to how lefties I know in California freaked out when visiting Texas when seeing people open carry. For people that advocate tolerance and knowledge they sure are reactionary and oblivious.

Because many who support Trump are racist, misogynistic, and xenophobic. That's not surprising. What is surprising is that many who support Trump feel they need to justify the actions of these bad actors, so they can feel better about their choices. How else can you explain all the snowstorms and pretzelifying we observe in cyberspace these days?

An article on the Daily Dot, published Tuesday, draws negative attention to Bruso, equating him to a racist and a “problematic” individual.

 

Citing a leftist meme about the “milkshake duck” (i.e. the person everyone likes who turns out to be a racist), the piece goes on to opine about America’s “racist past and present.”
