Wow! Knock me down with a feather duster.  Sad, that the alt-right have misappropriated this glorious word.

vote the repub of Jacque, 2020!

It is also funny that the DNC co-opted the word Democratic considering what they did to Bernie.

Like you said, not funny at the time, but now...  I think back to my time as a firefighter when I was on a roof of a single story house in Winter trying to cut a hole in it for venting.  I lost my footing and slid off luckily into a snow bank.  Even though my fall was a bit cushioned, I still feel it in my hips, and we laugh about it now.

Ouch! I vote you rename yourself mchammer!

If I look at the article in it's simplest form and assume the writer is trying to make a point of some sort, surely he would be trying to sway those from the alt-right and who at times are classed as uneducated. So why not write it in a manner that a normal educated everyday person could understand?

So to me he had no intention of trying to sway anyone's opinion, he was just pandering to his own class or readership.

More proof that the art of Rhetoric is no longer appreciated in our ADD culture

Education does not just come from university levels, or college degrees.  I work with many folks that have advanced degrees and may be experts in one specific field but are dumber than rocks when it comes to anything else.  Quite honestly I feel some of the most educated people are those that experienced life in many ways and not just from an ivory tower or ivy covered hall.

If anything, college these days only makes ya dumber.

And your data for this?

Do I really need data? Are people not allowed to have opinions anymore? Not like I haven't detailed why a million times.

Fair enough, I disagree with you then. College work helps and doesn't hurt.

Statistics are in your favor. I don't know in which planet someone would pass on a college education. Of course, you also have successful people who have dropped out of college, but that is not the case for the majority.

We've had this discussion a million times but I'll say it again: college education isn't for everybody, nor does everyone need it. Some do, some don't, it works better for some than it does for others. I passed on a college education(with the exception of 2 years in technical college that I could have done without as I never used it so I don't count that), and I know many others who did - we're all doing just fine. I don't know in which planet people would consider college education a MUST. Oh wait, I do, planet earth which is part of why we're so screwed and tuition is sky high and people don't hire the right people with the right skills for the job because they only look at what college work they did. Stupid way to do things imo but what do I know..
