Hello,

I had the same question as Shahnam0716.  For those who got approved and are ready to travel, did you get instructions for paying a visa fee?

You can pay after arriving to the US. Whenever you want, the earlier the sooner ur greencard would arrive.

Where do we get information on how much and where we have to pay the fees? Do we have to submit any application or do we just pay a fee?

Look on USCIS website. You pay 220 dollars &  the day of your travel to USA, officer will let you know details of it all.

Guys, those of you whose visa was approved, did you get any packet, letter, or anything in addition to a visa-stamped passport? I found the following information online and it says that we should have gotten a sealed immigrant visa packet to bring with us to the US. Did you guys anything like this?

"How do I pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee?

1. Attend your appointment at a U.S. embassy or consulate

The U.S. embassy or consulate will give you and your family members:

° A sealed immigrant visa packet. Keep it in a safe place and do not open it.

° A handout with instructions on how to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee (USCIS Immigrant Fee handout).

° An Immigrant Data Summary sheet. Printed on the top of this document are your Alien Registration Number (A-Number) and DOS Case ID.

Please make sure to write your A-Number and DOS Case ID at the top of your USCIS Immigrant Fee handout. You should record these numbers before you travel because you will turn in your immigrant visa packet and Immigrant Data Summary sheet when you enter the United States."

Those of you whose spouses' arrived in the US (or will arrive soon), can you please give us some information about what the immigration process is at the airport?

Its normal process, I was asked to give the sealed envelope nd the officer asked me few questions like why was ai goin when I got married then my passport was stamped nd was told the greencard will arrive as soon as I pay my fees nd itll take 2-3 weeks after that nd that was it!
