You know i hate to be a grouch or a complainer but this wait has been beyond frustrating. Its just so unfair to make people wait like this. USCIS took 4 months, NVC about 10 weeks, and NOW we are stuck at the stage that should ve been the easiest.

I know it is very very frustrating. Its been and still is just so hard waiting nd waiting :( I just hope really really hope we hear something soon!!!

I feel the same way - especially when i see other countries receive their dates in a month or so. there should be a standard timeline for this especially for spouses. if a certain embassy or consulate is busy, they should direct more staff members there to maintain that timeline. after all, our US citizen spouses are paying taxes and application fees for this process. disappointing all around.

So true, i think whats been the hardest is to hope that next month is The month and nothing, like you live from month to month. Having said that logically this should be Our month if you compare all the time lines from the past.

10/06/2011: Documents sent to Dallas

12/08/2011: Yellow Letter received (dated: 12/06/2011)

01/06/2012: Status Change!!!: Initial Testing and Interviewing

It has to be next month!!!! I mean how much longer do we really have to wait! And thats only giving us dates. So another month or god knows how much longer we'll need to wait!

You know you will only drive yourself crazy trying to figure this out, and i totally get your frustrations.

What i know is that if after 6 months we dont hear from the embassy NVC will contact them. Of course im not sure what the embassy responds and if they do what happens. But i think all of us have been approved in May right, so November is 6 months
