alhamdulillah got my approval today! my experience was similar to the ones shared already so i won't go into much detail but some notes:

-people seemed to jump the queue on the benches. i was there at 6:15 and 4 people were ahead of me, and someone who came at 6:45 managed to squeeze in ahead of the 3rd lady who was right before me. it's not a big deal if it's one person, but the order that you sit is the order that you enter, so i find it a little rude that people who are coming later are trying to get ahead. 

-immigrant applicants were interviewed in a room and also at a booth. i was the second one assigned the booth and i heard the whole conversation of the person before me and i'm sure everyone heard mine too. 

-the person ahead of me was an ethiopian applicant and unfortunately she got AP. i felt terrible for her and before i could ask why, it was my turn and we couldn't chat.

-my police clearance email copy was accepted. i recently renewed my UAE visa and applied for a new police clearance, and i didn't receive the original through mail in time, so i went with the print out hoping for the best and they accepted it!

Salam! how are u guys all ? very evrey happy those get pass their interview Alhumdulillah (suha,wenderlust88,mahar..)best wish of travel after long wait have u all get same success ameen.mine will on sundat littel bit nervous.i done my medical yesterday .i have liitle confuse about documents those are pass plz tell me about w2,bcoz the nvc want me my co-sposner w2 and tax copy ect 2016,so should i need his 2017 too or what they asked thats much only i take it?and my hubby w2 and tax return 2017 i have all which also i ned to show that he can sponser me too.my interview on sunday 26march 2016.

congratulations! were you at the booth or in the room? did you receive a slip with the approval? i thought the CO said i will receive an email within 4 days with instructions on how to collect my passport but i'm not sure if i heard him right because of all the noise. were you told something similar?

yes get the 2017 W2 along with the filed tax returns for both your husband and the co sponsor. my CO spent quite a bit of time reviewing affidavit of support.

I had it in the room. It was really quick one. The next thing I heard  the lady told me that I should hear from Empost in few days. Yes, I got the white slip with the approval too.

the applicant before me was asked a lot more questions like how often they meet and she had a joint sponsor, so the CO asked her a few questions about that person too.

 

thanks and good luck! get there early (6- 6 15 AM if your appointment is at 8) and double check all your documents. the CO seemed to spend some time on both mine and the previous applicant's affidavit of support, so make sure you have all the necessary financial proofs and tax returns.

Okay! thanks for the advice! Yeah we've reviewed the documents multiple times and I've given extra supporting financial documents.  You didn't end up changing your i-864 to reflect this years tax returns right? I have kept the same i-864 that i submitted to NVC last year but I send him my 2017 W2 and tax return.

i took an updated i-864 (with the 2017 income) just in case but CO didn't ask for it. but he did ask the person before me as she had a joint sponsor.

for those who got approved, what's your CEAC tracker showing? i know it's only been 24 hours but mine is showing 'administrative processing'.

Mine is also showing Administration  processing  since 18th MARCH. Can you please tell me when your case updated last time?

20th march which was the day of my interview. did you receive an approval slip?

I had interview on 13 MARCH. They gave me a paper to proof domicile of my petitioner so 18th march after 2 pm i submitted  proof of domicile  with my passport  and they said i will get my passport in one week through  EMPOST.

alhamdulillah it just got updated to ISSUED  

 

@Nadim give it till the end of this week then as it hasn't been a week since 18th march
