Congratulations! Can  you please share your experience.. and what kind of questions they asked?

my interview is tomorrow.

Hi suha,

I went early, i was there at 6:45 am and i was done by 9:30am. There were 4 ppl ahead of me and like 30 ppl after me (for immigrant visas). So its better to come early.

I waited outside on the bench until around 7:15 am, then they asked us to enter and they saw our passport and interview letter and let us in. Bags arent allowed, they take phones and give us a token. Then there was airport style checking. Then we enter the main building and we are given tokens. 600 series was for immigrant visas.

Then for preassessment i was asked for photos, original birth, marriage and police clearances. And she asked a few questions just biographic info. And then fingerprinting was done.

Then i had interview with American CO, she was nice young lady, she asked questions about how i met my husband, when i got married, mine and his qualification and jobs, if we were married previously, his address in usa, where i was born etc

Then she said everything looks good and gave a pamphlet about domestic abuse and helplines in usa. And gave me a white slip which read congratulations for conditional visa approval. (As i havent completed 2 yrs of marriage)

Iam sorry, Conditional approval doesnt have anything to do with marriage duration. But thats what the slip they give to approvals says!

Hi Everyone,

I know a few people mentioned it, but i couldn't really find a clear answer.

Is the embassy accepting the emailed Dubai Police Certificate as the original one? I can't find anywhere to get an original, it even says on it you don't need a stamp.

It's about to expire now after submitting my documents to NVC, so I may get another one for that reason, but it still won't be the original...

Appreciate if anyone who's had their interview can enlighten me.

Thanks,

Will

I ordered my Good Conduct Certificate through MOI UAE app,

I got it by email, then I went to the following address in Abu Dhabi and had a print out of it.

Security Media
Sheikh Zayed Bin Sulthan St,

Building number 26
4th Floor

Next to Khalifa Park,

Ministries Complex - Abu Dhabi

They are cooperative and nice people there

Good luck

did they require your emirates id or passport or just the print out of the electronic certificate?
