The interview was very straightforward. IO will only ask you questions that you already know the answers. They just want to make sure that your marriage is not a fraud and not a marriage for convenience. So basically they will asked about your love story, your husband's life and your life :) So all the best!!!!

can you also  please tell me how long it took you to get your passport back?

Hi Suha, I had my interview last March 4 and I think the next day or March 6 I have received an email that says the passport and visa is ready for pick up at Empost but was only able to pick it up yesterday as I am so tied up at work.

I had my interview last March 4 and I think March 5 or 6 I received an email from the embassy that visa and passport is ready for collection but was only able to collect it yesterday. Got busy with work.

Congratulations Gab09282015!

Guys, for affidavit of support/income what all do I need to take to the interview?

- I-864 Affidavit of Support with information from 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014

- Current Paystub (2018)

- W-2 for 2017

- Do I need to take tax transcripts from the last 3 years (2016, 2015, 2014)?

1)We must bring Affidavit of support, if you submitted original to nvc, get a copy of it. If you submitted copy of it to nvc then you need to bring original.

2) supporting documents- most RECENT tax returns (2017) W2’s and most recent (2018) (atleast 3) paystubs.

once you submitted affidavit of support, you dont need to update it again, the one you submitted is fine. But you need updated supporting documents.

If your interview is before April 15, 2018 then 2016 tax returns are also fine. But after 15 april, 2017 tax returns must be given.

However, if your information has changed since the original AOS, you must bring an updated signed one.  Along with any updated supporting documents including w2s, ytd earnings, latest tax return or employment letters.
