no idea if he will be asked but there is a question in the DS-260 about whether you have been refused a US visa in the past.

Thank you! I was hoping it wouldn't cause a problem. Thanks for your response!

True, I was twice denied for a tourist visa, but it was not an issue during the interview and I still got a visa

Thank you! I have another question. Did anybody send their original police clearance to the NVC

I am at work right now, and I am not able to check if I have my husbands original police clearance. But I am almost certain that I sent my lawyer the original police clearance.

I am freaking out just a little now!

Hi ZnM, the police clearance that I have sent to NVC was more than a year ago since they asked for it around January 2017. UAE police certificate is only valid for 3 months, and in my home country, its only valid for a year. So when I went home late last year, I took another police clearance from the Philippines and another police clearance from here last week. So basically I have given the embassy a whole new set of Police clearance coz they asked for it

Congratulations!! Its so good to hear that. I too have my interview in two weeks.

Can you share your interview experience please?

The interview was very straightforward. IO will only ask you questions that you already know the answers. They just want to make sure that your marriage is not a fraud and not a marriage for convenience. So basically they will asked about your love story, your husband's life and your life :) So all the best!!!!

My husband studied in Malaysia and we got his police clearance last year as well. But there is no need for another police clearance because my husband has not been to Malaysia since then.
