I have got my local police clearance certificate via email and i’ve printed it. My question is that will this electronic version of pcc considered original at interview??

when you request PCC through MOI website, there is an option to have original mailed to you through empost. it costs AED 165 or so. just select that option.

I think you got lucky.  I seriously doubt that an emailed copy is considered an original document.

dubai police are no longer giving original and all what they give is the email copy, embassy must be aware,I don't see it that it will be a problem

When my husband applied for a PCC last year  for NVC, he got an original one. But this time when he went, they told him the rules have changed and they ended up emailing it to him too. I believe the US embassy must be aware of this change so I don’t think a printed copy will be an issue.

are dubai folks also applying for the police clearance certificate through MOI website? if so, it's strange that the option to mail original certificate won't be available for you while it is available for those in abu dhabi
