Oh really? That's odd. I guess it just depends on the representative. I called twice, because I almost didnt believe the first lady and they both told me March 25th.  Maybe if he calls again another rep will probably tell him the date. Anyways, at least you know there is a spot and im sure its mid March most likely

Yeah I know! But as you said at least I got something better than the usual reply we get! I believe I may be mid march too we will see 🙏🏼🙏🏼

They haven't send me an email yet or updated the ceac, but I called NVC and they told me it was scheduled this morning!   So all May and June cc'c go ahead and call instead of waiting for the email because they said it could take up to a week.  The wait is finally almost over guys!!

Can someone please explain the purpose of Priority Date to me. I am still confused about it. I thought IR1 CR1 cases dont have priority date. My lawyer also told me that I dont have a priority date. He told me that my case will be current. But people with priority dates after me have gotten their interview before me. 

 

MY NOA 1 was on October 6th 2016. (technically my priority date)

 

Does this give my case a preference over other cases that have started after mine? 

 

Can someone please clarify this for me?
